I was surprised to encounter the most unfriendly and unhelpful librarians at this place. Aren't Canadians known for being friendly/polite? Ha ha... I was in the neighborhood and wanted to check my email and according to the two workers I spoke with, they don't offer guest internet access. Whaaaat? I've got over 10 years of public and university library experience and there's always been a way we could get someone connected to the internet. Whatever, I may have just asked the wrong people, but I hope they are nicer and provide better customer service to people who actually live there.

Used to have a great librarian but corrupt business politics get yet another person run out of this town. Free public access to computers, etc. gone. Replaced with retirement age women who barely know how to access the internet let alone recommend a book. Going to Virden from now on.
